| Tattooing as an art form has been part of human culture since our days of dwelling in caves. Through out the centuries the technique used to introduce the ink into the skin has remained much the same.
The biggest change happened when Samuel O'Reilly invented the electric tattooing machine in 1891.
O'Reilly improved upon an earlier tattoo machine invented by Thomas
Edison that did not succeed commercially. |
