No this isn't really Kevin. |
I began tattooing in August of 1995 in Dayton, Ohio. In March of 1996, I took a job and began tattooing in Cincinnati, Ohio. I spent about 6 1/2 years tattooing in numerous shops in Cincinnati. During that time, I spent 2 years working with Mike Dorsey at Permanent Productions Tattoo. Working with Mike allowed me to meet many people, and to work my first tattoo convention being the 1999 Motor City Tattoo Expo. |

Around October of 2001 I returned to Dayton, Ohio where I worked with Glen and Carol Friesen at East Dayton Tattoo until November of 2002. While working with Glen, I learned a great deal about tattoo machines, the technical aspects of tattooing, and tattooing in general. In November of 2002, after a vacation to Miami Beach with my wife, I took a job in Miami Beach working for Ken and Michelle Cameron at South Beach Tattoo/Tattoos by Lou. While working in Miami, I had the opportunity to work with a great bunch of people, do a few conventions including the 2003 National Tattoo Convention in St. Louis, and had a great time.
After about a year and a half in Miami, my friend Craig Moore, owner of Mothers Tattoo who I had worked with at Permanent Productions, was on Vacation in Miami. Craig was about to buy an existing tattoo shop and was going to be needing another artist and offered me a job. As fun as it was, Miami was not the place my wife and myself wanted to stay forever, and we decided to return to Cincinnati in March of 2004. Since then I have been tattooing at Mothers Tattoo Covington, KY location and doing a few conventions with friend and coworker Sagent Staygold. In the news section, there will be updates on Conventions and guest spots I will be doing.
P.S. I would also like to thank many people who have helped me out a lot over the years with knowledge, advice, or just encouragement and inspiration. A few of those people include, Glen and Carol Friesen, Kore Flatmo, Mike Dorsey and the whole crew I worked with at Permanent Productions, Cat and Carla Spencer, Ken and Michelle Cameron & all the people i worked with in Miami, Jason Scott, Troy Denning, the Mothers Tattoo Crew, Devin for doing this web site, and of course my family and wife who deal with all my shit !! |
